Po Ho hydroelectric factory includes two bunches of modern machines (H1 and H2), generating a total capacity of 13.2 MW. Each year, Po Ho hydropower will 52.14 million kWh on average to the National Electricity System, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locals and the country.
Po Ho Hydroelectric factory is one of the energy projects of the Infrastructure and Transport and Infrastructure Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Intracom) built on the Po Ho line in Trung Leng Ho commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai with a total investment of 507,970 billion VND. The main items of the project include Dam, water tunnel, pressure tower, pressure pipe, hydroelectric factory, and discharge channel, 110kV station, 110kV power transmission line Po Ho – Ta Loi 2, operation management building.
To generate power to the National Power System, Intracom experts, engineers, and staff have been working passionately, observing closely each item and ensuring operating requirements as regulations.
That Po Ho hydroelectric factory joined the national electric grid is an important milestone during the investment and construction process of the project, a success based on the effort of all Intracom employees, especially workers of the Po Ho hydroelectric factory.
