There are always lots of volunteers willing to contribute their blood whenever the event takes place as Phuong Dong General Hospital’s blood donation program is an occasion for all Intracom members to express their humanitarian spirit.

 
Due to the social distance caused by the complication of the Covid-19 pandemic, many blood donation programs have been postponed or canceled since the day before Lunar New Year, leading to unexpected scarcity of thousand blood units while the demand for blood donation and products for treatment has been significantly rising day by day.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Vietnamese Physician’s Day 27/2, Phuong Dong General Hospital – Phuong Dong Medical Complex team and other member companies in the Intracom system sent their help by enthusiastically taking part in the voluntary blood donation program launched by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

 
The festival was carried out very early with guidance from the hospital team to ensure each treatment quality. After registration, volunteers would experience health examination and consultation, then blood tests. People eligible for the test after taking a rest and would be presented with a voluntary blood donation certificate.

Employees’ spirit and responsibility to the community and society were deeply exposed through the number of registration for blood donation.

From February 2020, Phuong Dong General Hospital has made cooperation with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in establishing and developing a fixed blood donation location right there, making Phuong Dong Hospital become a prestigious place for Hanoian to donate their blood with the mission “Each blood saves a life”.
