In the morning of November 16th, 2018, Chairman of the Board of Directors – General Director of Intracom Group – Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet and the delegation of Intracom attends “Ceremony of announcing the Establishment Decision and launching the Journalism and Communication Institute”, under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This is the first model in the USSH and also one of the first models of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, developed from the faculty level to the Institute level, following the spirit of autonomy university orientation being directed by the Government.

In the context of the digital era, the achievements of science and technology, the global explosion of information and the competitive pressure of social media pose many challenges for press trainers. Journalism and Communication Institute determines the core goal of improving the contents and training methods, expanding and diversifying the types of training, rising to reach international quality standards.

From that, the Institute will train and provide the society with high quality journalism and communication human resources that are fully equipped with strong political instincts, clear professional ethics, professional competence and operational skills and communication administration.

The launching ceremony of the Journalism and Communication Institute is an important event of the USSH as well as the country’s journalism and communication training. This is a milestone marking the new development of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism – Communication Profession, becoming one of the two largest journalism and communication training and research units in Vietnam.
