At the ceremony, after the flag ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, the university rector, gives a speech to welcome the new school year in solemnity and pride. This is the 57th new school year of Foreign Trade University, marking a history of teaching and learning full of glorious achievements of this prestigious school. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan drums to start a new school year promising success.

Also in the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Thoa, Deputy General Director – cum the President of the Trade Union of Infrastructure  Investment and Transportation Construction Joint Stock Company (Intracom) represents the company to give flowers to congratulate the school. In particular, the company awards 10 scholarships worth 10 million VND each, with a total value of VND 100 million to outstanding students and poor students overcoming difficulties to encourage them to make more efforts in learning, soon being an exemplary citizen contributing to the development of their home country.
