Intracom Group

Dong Pao Hydropower Project is a kind of third-rate industrial construction, including 2 units with a designed capacity of 6.5 MW, located in the area of 15.08 hectares in Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province. The project has Tay Bac Green Energy Joint Stock Company (under Intracom Group) as the investor with a total registered investment capital of 260.180 billion VND. The 5-km route would include main categories as dam lines, energy lines, hydropower plants implemented in the third quarter of 2019 and turned into commercial operation in the third quarter of 2021. Dong Pao hydropower plant has planned to provide an amount of 27.01 million kWh per year after connecting to the national electricity grid for production and daily activities; increasing job opportunities and state budget, promoting local socio-economic development.

The approval of Dong Pao Hydropower project investment is an important step in expanding Intracom’s clean energy project portfolio as well as the general development orientation of the whole system.
