Ta Loi 3 hydropower plant in Lao Cai province provides electricity officially, jointed in 110kV national grid (27/11/2012)

Ta Loi 3 Hydropower Plant has 02 units with the installed capacity of 7.5MW invested by INTRACOM Company. The plant was started construction in 2010 in Muong Hum commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province.

In order to generate electricity to the National Power System, the owner has built 5.7km 110kV transmission line from Nam Pung 110kV substation to Muong Hum 110kV substation and signed the contract of management and signed the agreement for renting operation of 110kV transmission line with a member company of National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) . To ensure the 110kV line is qualified for electricity supply, safe and reliable operation; Lao Cai High-voltage Grid Branch has checked and accepted the entire length of the 110kV line and required the owner to repaire the problems discovered during the inspection. After two and a half hour, both units successfully connected 110kV grids, which are expected to add about 30 million kWh annually to the National Power System.
